Tombaugh Elementary will hold its monthly Walking
School Bus on Thursday, September 15th
A Walking School Bus is a group of children who walk to school together under the supervision of an LCPS staff member and parents
and volunteers. The program promotes good health, a cleaner environment, and reduced traffic around school.
We will walk RAIN OR SHINE (except if there’s lightning).
Wake up your brain with fresh air and exercise before school.
Meet new friends.
Learn to be safe pedestrians.
Reduce traffic congestion and avoid parking lot madness.
Save the environment.
It’s FUN!
Each month receive a collectible charm and a punch in a card
towards an end of year prize.
