The Class of 2024 will participate in commencement ceremonies May 23-25 at the Pan American Center, 1810 E. University Avenue, on the campus of New Mexico State University. This is the first time since 2019 that all six high schools in Las Cruces Public Schools have hosted graduations at the Pan Am.
Attendees will be required to follow NMSUâs clear bag policy, which means no bags that do not align with the policy will be allowed inside the venue. Approved bags include clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches wide by six inches deep and 12 inches high. Small clutch bags are allowed, as well as soft, flexible seat cushions.
Prohibited items include confetti, noisemakers, large posters and âfat headâ photos that might impede the view of others and balloons.

Thursday there will be an early release at Organ Mountain High School. On Friday, all classes at Las Cruces High School will be released early and there will be no school for Rio Grande Prep so that staff can attend commencement.
Guests are asked to use the northeast and southeast entrances to the Pan Am. East and west entrances will not be open. Doors will open to attendees one hour prior to each ceremony.
All commencement ceremonies will have Spanish translation available as well as an American Sign Language interpreter. For those who cannot attend, all ceremonies will be livestreamed at www.lcps.tv.

La ceremonia de graduaciĂłn de la clase del 2024 se llevarĂĄ a cabo en el Pan American Center
La clase del 2024 tendrĂĄ ceremonias de graduaciĂłn del 23 al 25 de mayo en el Pan American Center, 1810 E. University Avenue, en el campus de la Universidad Estatal de Nuevo MĂŠxico. Esta es la primera vez desde el 2019 que las seis escuelas preparatorias de las Escuelas PĂşblicas de Las Cruces organizan graduaciones en el Pan Am.
Los asistentes deberĂĄn seguir la regla de bolsas transparentes de NMSU, lo que significa que no se permitirĂĄn bolsas que no sigan esta regla dentro del lugar. Las bolsas permitidas serĂĄn aquellas de plĂĄstico transparente, vinilo o PVC y que no excedan las 12 pulgadas de ancho por seis pulgadas de profundidad y 12 pulgadas de largo. Se permiten bolsas de mano pequeĂąas, asĂ como cojines para sentarse que sean suaves y flexibles.
Se prohĂbe usar confeti, artĂculos para producir ruido, carteles grandes, globos y fotos de "cabezas grandes" que puedan bloquear la vista de los demĂĄs.
